ICA ClarinetFest 2017のご案内

 ClarinetFest® 2017 Announcement

Dear Members,

We hope that you enjoyed a happy spring with a flurry of activity in your ensembles, universities and private studios! ClarinetFest® 2017 is shaping up to be an amazing conference with outstanding headliners, lecturers and vendors; wonderful sponsors; and an abundance of clarinet choirs from all over the world.

We are also excited to unveil the ClarinetFest® 2017 app which will provide many wonderful perks and features to our membership to make navigating the conference fun and easy! Plus, for the first time, ClarinetFest® will be in sunny Florida! The conference is presented in partnership with the School of Performing Arts at the University of Central Florida. There is so much to see and do in and around the Orlando area that you’ll be hard pressed to fit everything in!

Please be sure to make your travel plans right away so you can attend the kickoff of ClarinetFest® for the Gala opening recital at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 26. This incredible recital will feature legendary artists and ICA Honorary Members Eddie Daniels, Stanley Drucker and Michele Zukovsky with pianist Gail Novak and Los Angeles-based pianist/clarinetist Tom Ranier. Eddie and Tom will perform the world premiere of Tom’s One on One. Also featured on the Gala Opening Recital will be the 2016 ICA Young Artist Competition winner, João Paiva of Portugal.

The Gala Opening Recital will include an opportunity to register to win some deluxe prizes that willbe awarded in drawings throughout the festival. Most notably, a grand prize winner will be selected on the Saturday evening concert. To be eligible for the grand prize, members must pick up their tickets and be present at the opening gala as well as at the Saturday evening concert.

The entire membership is cordially invited to attend the ICA President’s Reception following the opening evening concert featuring our eminent, world-class clarinet soloists with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Please join us for this reception to honor our new Honorary Members, Eddie Daniels, Luis Rossi and Richard Stoltzman, as well as past honorary membership inductees, past presidents and our 2017 sponsors, with special thanks and appreciation to Keith Koons and his artistic leadership team for hosting ClarinetFest® 2017.

The ICA board is pleased to announce that we will unveil the ICA Capital Campaign at ClarinetFest® 2017 to endow and secure the future and continued success of our wonderful organization. Please help us to kick off this grassroots effort to raise money and secure our financial future so that we can be self-funded and continue to offer innovative ClarinetFest® conferences and first-rate opportunities for our members worldwide.

We are also tremendously grateful for the sponsors of
ClarinetFest® 2017, including Buffet Crampon, D’Addario Woodwinds, Rovner Products, RZ Woodwind Manufacturing, Selmer Paris, Vandoren and Yamaha Corporation of America.

Students under the age of 18 must be registered by a legal guardian and must be accompanied by an adult chaperone on the day of the event. All students must sign up for the free day at www.clarinet.org by Friday, July 21. A registration form can be found on the ClarinetFest® 2017 webpage.
