VOLUNTEER WITH DMI IN TANZANIA
AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE THROUGH MUSIC!
Daraja Music Initiative (DMI) provides an interdisciplinary music and conservation education program to primary and secondary students in Moshi, Tanzania. Join us in giving the gift of music and promoting conservation of the mpingo tree (African Blackwood)— which is Tanzania’s national tree and the wood that makes clarinets, oboes, and more.
When:
3-4 week sessions; June-July, 2018
Where:
Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania, Africa
What is the program fee?
$2,500 for 3 weeks
What will you do in Tanzania?
- Teach private and group lessons
- Plant trees
- Perform for community concerts and outreach
